Chairman Of Company Fined

A City Court Magistrate yesterday fined Robert Reid, former chairman of Reid Murray Holdings, Ltd., 30 dollars on each of three charges involving a loan of 35,000 dollars. Reid, aged 68, of Paradise Gardens, Surfers Paradise, Queensland, was charged under the Company’s Act with having wilfully and knowingly authorised the giving of financial assistance by Reid Murray Holdings in connexion with sunscriptions made for shares in the company.
