Saved Mother’s Life
Cheryl Briggs, a New Plymouth brownie, was responsible for raving her mother’s life, says the Girl Guide’s news letter.
The Briggs’s doctor said Cheryl’s guide training prompted her quick and sensible action. Cheryl, who is 10 years old, immediately treated her mother for shock when she suddenly fell ill, and ran to neighbours for help. Cheryl wiU be sent a letter of conunendatoin by the chief commissioner (Mrs W. G. Turnbull). ’
