Trophy Golf In Mexico
6V Z. Press Association» WELLINGTON. The 7174-yard. par 72 Mexico City course will be the venue of this year’s Eisenhower Trophy world amateur golf championship from October 27-30, the New Zealand Golf Association has been informed. For the first time the Eisenhower Trophy and the Espirito Santo Trophy—the women’s equivalent—will be played together over successive weeks. The womens’ event is at the Mexico City Country Club a 6292-yard, par 72 course. The New Zealand Eisenhower Trophy team is expected to leave on October 16. New Zealand will meet Australia at Auckland in a Sloan Morpeth Trophy match prior to departure, and October 14 and 15 seem the likely dates for this'.
