FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation.—An anti-cyclone centred near the Chatham Islands covers New Zealand. Forecast:
Canterbury.—Moderate north-east winds predominating; extensive areas of low cloud, fog and drizzle at first but cloud breaking in many places in the afternoon with warm temperatures. Outlook: partly cloudy.
Marlborough and Nelson.—Light to moderate northerlies; mainly cloudy and warm, but some isolated afternoon showers about the ranges. Outlook: a few showers.
Buller and Westland.—Light to moderate northerlies; cloudy and mild; scattered light rain mainly this morning and tonight. Outlookshowery. CHRISTCHURCH READINGS
