VISIT TO U.S.
Prince Says, ‘Successful’
(N.Z. Press As«n—Copyright)
NEW YORK, March 21
Prince Philip said yesterday that he had enjoyed his 11-day visit to the United States so much that he would like to come back incognito to “fill in the gaps.” Speaking at Kennedy airport prior to departure for a two-day visit in Canada, the Prince said his visit was “very successful.” During his visit, the Prince toured the country to encourage exports of British goods to the United States and to raise funds for children's charities. He raised more than a million dollars, mainly at expensive dinners.
After visiting Toronto he will go on to Ottawa on Wednesday. From there, he will depart for London.
