Although the 22 runs R. C. Mots took from a single over by D. A. Allen in the recent series is a record for a six-ball over in a Test, an achievement of special note was performed by the Australian left-hand-er, C. Hill, 61 years ago. In a representative match—not a test—between Australia and New
Zealand in the 19044)5 season, HUI hit three sixes and two fours from an over by K. M. Ollivier, a total of 26 runs. In another match verging on test status, D. G. Bradman, playing for the 1934 Australians against an England XL took 30 from an over by A. P. Freeman—three sixes and three fours.
