May Brighten Vehicle Fleet
The Riccarton Borough Council favours brightening the appearance of its motorvehicle fleet.
It agreed to have the engineer consider a colour scheme for council vehicles and bring down a recommendation for the works committee with power to act. Cr. R. W. J. Harrington said the council could emulate the City Council’s manner of decorating its vehicles with the city coat-of-arms. Cr. D. A. Anderson suggested that the fleet have a twotone colour scheme.
The present colour of the council’s vehicles is dark green.
