Anzac Day Races

For the first time, race meetings and other forms of entertainment will operate on the afternoon of Anzac Day in Queensland this year. The Anzac Day parade in Brisbane will be held almost four hours earlier and al! services will be over by noon. Public entertainment will begin by 1.30 p.m. and hotels will open from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Race meetings can also be held after 1 p.m.
