PEDESTRIAN KILLED

(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, March 22. A pedestrian was fatally injured as a result of an accident involving a car at the comer of Fitzherbert and College streets, Palmerston North, at 7.10 p.m. last night.

She was Miss A. L. Thompson, of 27 Rangitane street, Palmerston North.

She was taken to Palmerston North Hospital, where she died shortly after midnight.
