Second Win To Auckland
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Th« strength of its windward work made Auckland an impressive winner of the third heat of the Moffat Cup for Idle Along yachts at Point Chevalier yesterday. With two wins and a second, Auckland leads in the series by 60 points from Hawke’s Bay. The provisional results were:— Third Race. Auckland, 1:55:40, 1; Hawke’x Bay. 1:59:14, 2; Bay of Plenty. 1:59:23, 3; Wellington, 2:0:8, 4; South Canterbury, 2:2:4, 5: Taranaki, 2:3:24, 6; Otago, 8:3:53, 7; Manukau, 2:4:8, 8. Progress points:—Auckland 266.07, Hawke’s Bay 206.67, Wellington 156.67, Bay of Plenty 133.33, South Canterbury 98.33, Taranaki 85.71, Otago 58.33, Manukau 44.44.
