3541 b Marlin Heaviest (A’l Press Association/ „ AUCKLAND with only two days remains of the fourth international big game fishing contest, the Bay of islands team, captained by U Pocklington, is :n a very strong po&tion, leading by 1034.1 points.
It reached this positron yesterday mainly through the efforts of W. G. Sherman, of Darga V’Mfle, who caught two str*ped martin. One, a 3541 b fish caught on an 801 b line, was aflso the heaviest catch of the day. The leaders are: BiiMfish-shark.—W. Pocklington (Bay of Islands), 2191 points; F. Peterson (Kawau Island), 11M9.
