DEPUTATION ON WORKS

WELLINGTON. March 1.
The Meat Board this morning received a deputation on the claims of Otago to a new freezing works. The chairman (Sir John Ormond) said after the meeting: “This is the first time we have had a delegation from any province representative of every local body involved. The delegation put forward strongly a case to have a small works in Otago. This will be considered by the board.”
