It could be expected that most parking meter prices: would rise with the eonver-; sion to decimal currency, saidl the president of the Muni-: cipi! Association. .Mr A. M i Linton, of Rctorua. in his report to the association’s annual conference in Auckland today. He said this was one of the many problems associated with the conversion, and indications were that the Government would give no assistance in this direction. Some municipalities would meet the situation by blocking off the 3d slot, said Mr Linton, and having a five cent minimum parking fee. With the change drawing nearer, the position needed careful study, h* said.
