Mail Notices
Sir, —Who is responsible for the mail notices in your paper? For the last few days the next surface mail to U.K. has been advertised to go on Thursday, March 1. Each morning I’ve hoped for some correction as I use the surface mail a lot for parcels. Could this date possibly refer to the year after next when March 1 might fall on a Thursday?—Yours, etc., ACCURATE. February 26. 1966. [ A Post Office spokesman said that the error was regretted. The correct date should have been Tuesday, March 1. The next surface i mail for the United Kingdom | would close on Thursday, March 10. J
