SOFIA Feb. 27.

Bulgaria’s Communist-dom-inated Fatherland Front today won some 99 per cent of the votes in national elections that raised speculation about a possible change in the premiership, held by the Communist Party leader, Todor Zhivkov. The official news agency, 8.T.A., said the election result was indicated by returns which were "nowhere under 99 per cent” for candidates of a single Fatherland Front list. A total of 416 deputies, one for every 20,000 citizens, were elected to Parliament, including 280 Communist Party members, 80 representatives of the Bulgarian Agrarian Union, and 44 “independent” candidates.

Theft From Car.—A radio, valued at £2O. was stolen from a car parked in a yard in Moule street during the weekend.
