BUSINESS SURVEY
Determining Ruling Rates The Labour Department would begin its survey of 125 businesses in Christchurch today to determine this year’s ruling rates, said the District Superintendent (Mr C. D. Macan) yesterday. The work was expected to be completed within nine days. The principal businesses involved would be those in the engineering and building trades.
