Boy Lands Big Tuna
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Twelve-year-old Graeme Higgins landed a fish almost twice as heavy as himself after an 80-minute fight at Mercury Bay over the weekend.
The fish was a 1241 b tuna, the biggest taken at the Mercury Bay Big Game Fishing Club for some time.
