VISIT TO NZ
Japanese Farm Officials
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 28. Two officials of a semi-Gov-ermhent agency in Japan whose decisions will affect New Zealand exports in important ways will arrive at Auckland on Sunday to start a six-day visit. They are Mr K. Suga, the president, and Mr K. Geijo, a senior officer, of the Livestock Industry Promotion Corporation of Japan. This organisation when it assumes its full responsibilities later this year will have the task of regulating the supplies and consumer prices of a range of farm products in Japan. Prominent among these are some dairy products, including butter, milk powders and beef.
The Japanese officials are coming to New Zealand to examine sources of supply and to acquaint themselves with conditions here.
