STUDY TOUR IN BRITAIN
Agricultural Development (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Jan 21. The public relations officer of the Otago Development Council, Mr A. O. Davies, has been awarded a tour to Britain to study regional development and agriculture. The tour is sponsored by the Commonwealth Relations Office. Two North Island development officers and a manufacturing representative have been awarded similar tours. The chairman of the council, Mr T. K. S. Sidey, said today that Mr Davies would leave in March and have four weeks in Britain as the guest of the British Government The council is considering extending this period to enable Mr Davies to prepare a report on farming development.
