Castle Flight In Fast Trentham Run

(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON. Castle Flight, one of the form runners in the Telegraph Handicap, second leg of the Wellington Racing Club’s T.A.B. double at Trentham today, showed deceptive speed over three furlongs on the trial grass at Trentham yesterday. Ridden by E. J. Didhaiii, he was under a strong hold in his run through the straight

but recorded 38 3-ssec for three furlongs. Castle Flight has thrived on the trip and blew after his gallop. The Riccarton stablemates, Royal Blue (R. Fisher) and Talic (A. Telfer), were abreast after running three furlongs in 39 2-ssec. Royal Blue lost weight on the trip north, but galloped keenly enough. He will run on the second day of the meeting. Talic is in the Wellington Stakes today.
