GIRL OF 14 FOR TRIAL
Manslaughter Charge (N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, Jan. 21. Rosita Maria Reti, aged 14, who appeared in the Magistrate’s Court here today charged with the manslaughter of her 10-year-old sister, Jewel Reti, pleaded not guilty. She reserved her defence and was committed by Mr J. H. Luxford, S.M., to the Supreme Court for trial. The alleged offence occured on December 6, and Jewel Reti died in Auckland on December 8. Bail was allowed. Sergeant L. F. O’Shea prosecuted, and Mr F. P. Brady appeared for the accused.
