1750 U.S. Men Killed
IN.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) WASHINGTON, January 20. The number of Americans killed in the Vietnam war has reached 1750, topping the battle fatalities in two previous wars in United States history. The Vietnam war toll from January 1, 1961, to last Monday, topped the 1733 Mexican War total, and the 385 killed in the Spanish-American war. Sixty-eight United States servicemen died in combat last week, the Pentagon said.
