Pump Weighing Ton Stolen
(N.Z. Press Association) V ELLINGTu J Jan. 6. A centrifugal water pump »a!->ed at £977 was stolen from O? bank of a creek just off *’ie ’«»estern li'utt road, near Kelson Lower iiutt, over the i-.wiaay break. The pump, belonging to the Ministry of Works, weighs 1 ton 4 cwt.
