Central’s Target
Canterbury’s Plunket Shield team has settled old scores, with Auckland and Northern Districts, this season, but at New Plymouth today Central Districts will be anxious to end a lean period against Canterbury teams. Central has not beaten Canterbury outright (and won only once on the first innings) since it was victorious at Napier in 195758.
It has not beaten Canterbury outright at Christchurch.
