Quadruplets’ Progress
(N.Z. Press Association)
AUCKLAND, Dec. 30.
The quadruplets born to Mr and Mrs H. D. Rawson, of Nelson, on. December 20 are all progressing satisfactorily. The acting superintendent of the National Women’s Hospital, Mr G. H. Overton, said today that they had all dropped in weight since birth but that was quite normal. The weights are now: the first-born, a boy, 21b Boz (21b 14oz at birth), the two girls 31b loz (both 31b 6oz at birth), and the youngest by minutes, a boy, 21b Boz (21b 13oz).
Their mother, Mrs Sally Rawson, left hospital this week. She is staying in Auckland for several weeks to be near the babies, who are being cared for in the premature unit at the National Women’s Hospital. The names chosen for the babies are, in order of birth, John, Anne, Mary and Peter.
