UNIVERSITY TOURS
Students Guide
V isitors
The student guide service of the University of Canterbury has conducted 704 persons in 23 parties over the central and Ham sites since it began in August. Visitors are given a quick briefing about the university, and then shown major buildings and some classrooms by separate groups of guides on the two sites. As they leave, they are given a brochure with historical and statistical information and an outline of plans. Public tours will resume in mid-March, but bookings are being made now. Next year it is expected that the new science buildings at Ham will be included in the tour.
