Gifts For Hospital Patients
Sir, —On behalf of the Hospital Adoption Trust, I would like to express our appreciation to all those who sent Christmas presents to our office for distribution to patients at Sunnyside, Templeton, and Coronation Hospitals. The trust, officially titled Christchurch Combined Churches Hospital Patients Adoption Trust Board, acts as liaison between “adopting” groups and some 420 patients at these hospitals. Thanks to the large number of excellent contributions, we were able this year to give parcels of several items to each of these people. The response from groups and individuals was greater than ever before, and is greatly appreciated.—Yours, etc.,
C. R. MARSHALL, Secretary. December 29, 1965.
