GESTAPO CRIMES
Six Sentenced In Bonn (N.Z.P.A .-Reuter—Copyrig ht) BONN, December 28. A Bonn court yesterdal sentenced six former Gestapo men to hard labour terms ranging from three to seven years for aiding in the wartime killing of 11 foreign workers. Another accused was acquitted. The courtroom was heavily guarded by plain clothes police after anonymous threats that the prosecutor. Dr. Berislav Schmitz, would be killed after the verdict was read.
The court said the six convicted, all members of a Gestapo execution squad, had taken part in the execution of 11 foreign workers of unknown nationality in December, 1944, and February, 1945. They were found guilty of aiding in the murder of the workers.
