China Claims World Best

Two Chinese produced the world’s best performances of 1965 in high jump and the 110 metres hurdles, according to a New China News Agency review of athletics in China.
They are the lanky 23-year-old Ni Chih-Chin, who cleared 7ft 4jin in an exhibition jump on November 20. and the 23-year-old Tsui Lin, a Peking college student, who clocked 13.5 sec for the 110 metres hurdles on the same date. In addition, the agency said, China’s national sprint champion, Chen Cia Chuan. equalled the world record of lOsec for the 100 metres on (October 24.
