AUCKLAND, Dec. 26.
The Auckland branch of the British Medical Association was not advising its members on any action to prevent hoarding of tablets, the president (Dr. F. R. Chisholm) said today. The only action the association could take would be to censure or expel a member who had acted wrongly, he said. This action eould only he taken if the Health Department laid information. The Health Department cleared an Auckland doctor after an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the hoarding by an elderly couple of nearly 10.000 tablets, including barbiturates and dangerous drugs.
