AUCKLAND, Dec. 26,
The Auckland Education Board, which is fairly well placed for young teachers next year, has been asked to help three . other boards out of difficulties.
An unexpected shortage of teachers has developed in South Auckland, Taranaki and Hawke’s Bay. The Auckland board is now busily arranging postings for next February.
Seventy teachers in this area who obtained their certificates last year will be advised that they have been allocated to schools under the South Auckland, Taranaki and Hawke s Bay boards.
