FAULT IN ENGINE
Plane Returns To Auckland
(N.Z. Pre s s A s social ion) AUCKLAND, Dec. 26. An Air New Zealand DC4 flying to Norfolk Island this morning returned to Auckland International Airport soon after taking off when it developed engine trouble. Fuel had to be jettisoned to lighten the load for landing.
The engine was repaired and the plane left at 4.15 p.m. with 37 passengers on boards
