The 1 lost around last week to both the United Stalos and Canadian dollars. There were only a few changee in other currencies, and these were alight. Altered telegraphic transfer exchange rates, as advised by "he Bank of Now South Wales were:— New Zealand:— New York: Buy. 1.7874 dollars to £N.R. (compared with 2.7878 dollars on December IB); selling. 2.7658 dollars (2.7641). Canada: 3.611* dollar* (3.(138); 2.8725 dollars (2.8784). Denmark: 18.37 kroner (same); 18.85 kroner (18.80. France: 13.78 francs (same): 13.54 franc* (13.48). Hong Kong: K.lgf dollar* (16.10); 13.6 H dollar* (sane) Sweden: Ifi.Sfi kroner (14. M 13.24 kroner (same).
