The final race of the 1965 old bird pigeon flying programme of the East Christ church club was flown from To Aroha. a distance of 525 miles. Results:
D. Morgan. 13:1:24: R. Moore. 13:1:41; L. Starling. 13:2 4- W Walls. 13:9:51: R Moore. 13:10:3; A. Buckley 13:10:25- F Thyne, 13:11:7: W. Walls, 13:11:17; A. and B. Wenmoth. 13:11:59. and 13:11:59; B. Partridge, 13:13:19: Mann and Anderson. 13:14:31; D. Morgan. s - and R- Harrison, 13:14:50: A. Buckley, 13:14:56: E. Barker. 13:15:10. Mrs Morgan won the ladles' prize and W Walls the nominated bird prize.
