VICTIMS OF CYCLONE
Relief From C.0.R.5.0. (N.Z. Preu AasociaHon) WELLINGTON, Dec. 17. Nearly 6500 items of warm clothing and bedding from all over New Zealand are on the way to victims of the cyclone in Pakistan on Wednesday. Yesterday, from Auckland, C.0.RJ5.0. dispatched a consignment of blankets, quilts, coats, cardigans, pullovers and other winter clothing on a Karachi-bound vessel, the Walrata. “These will be distritMited in Pakistan by the Church World Service—one of the overseas agencies with which we work—following a request to supply winter clothing and blankets,” the national secretary of C.0.R.5.0., the Rev. H. C. Dixon, said this afternoon.
