DISQUALIFIED APPRENTICE
Held Onto Tail (N Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) PERTH. West Australian Turf Club stewards have disqualified for 12 months an apprentice rider who held onto the tail of another jockey's mount during Saturday’s Telephone Handicap at Ascot in Perth. The apprentice, T. Miller, was riding Flagardia, which finished fifth in the Perth Cup. He was disqualified for foul riding. The stewards said that for nearly a furlong Miller held | onto the tail of the other horse
