PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the lighting of fires In the open air in the Tawera County Is prohibited as from December 23, 1965, except between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Written permits to burn between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. will not be issued, but verbal permission must first be obtained from the nearest fire officer, or fire warden. Such permission does not relieve the person lighting the fire from full responsibility for keeping the fire under control.
