Impostor Escapes
(N.Z. _ Press Association? HAMILTON, Dec. 19. A man due to appear in the Magistrate's Court on Tuesday for sentence on a diary of poring aa a medical practioner has escaped from the Tokanto Mental Hoapitai. TTmtWMvwi poMce said that John Marrin Jackson, also known as Murray Beresford Roberts, was Mat seen at the hospital just before mid-day yesterday. Jackson was remanded by Mr Stewart Hardy for a mouth's observation at the hospital, when be appeared tn Hamilton Magtatoate'a Court on November 19. Poitce arid Jackson visited the office of his solicitor in Hamilton yesterday afternoon and when be found the solidtor out, left a message saying he would call later in the day. A constable was stationed in the building for the rest of the day, but Jackson did not return, the police arid. Police have no information at present of Jackson's likely whereabouts.
