Wilson Leaves (N.Z. .Press Assn.—Copyright) WASHINGTON, Dec. 19. The British Prime Minister, Mr Wilson, left Washington today after promising President Johnson to co-ordinate a defence cut-baek with senior American officials, the “New York Times’ news service reported. The British leader, who conferred with the President on two days, was said to have indicated a hope Britain could eventually transfer some military commitments from the Far East to Africa. He also outlined alternate ways in which Britain could make necessary military sav-ings-and sought United States advice before reaching a final decision.
