CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
Production At Shirley A Christmas pageant entitled “The Light Has Come,” will form part of the evening service at St Stephen's Anglican Church, Sbiriey, on Sunday. The pageant, an adaptation of a fantasy by the wellknown Bible translator, J. B. Phillips, considers the coming of Christ from the unusual viewpoint of the angels. Mrs M. Gibeon will produce the pageant, and form I and II children will be Included in the east.
The service will be partly patterned on the South Indian “Festival of Lights,” and will conclude with a colour film, “The Three Wise Boys.”
