Donations to C.O.R.S.O.
Cash donations to the C.0.R.5.0. Freedom from Hunger Campaign from the Can-terbury-West Coast area to date this year total £51,217. Of this, £28,700 has come from Christchurch city. The New Zealand total is £340,356.
The penny-a-person-e-meal gratitude boxes, which were sent to all churches in the Christchurch district during August, have so far realised £2lOO, with some boxes to come. School projects in the Canterbury-West Coast area have realised more than £BOO.
About 225,000 articles of clothing, comprising 490 bales, have been received by C.0.R.5.0. this year. Most has been sent overseas, the rest is expected to have gone by the end of January.
