Kept Opium For Addict
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 14. Leniency extended to elderly opium addicts would not be received by those who assisted them in their activities, Mr J. R. Drummond. SAL, told Fong Sim, aged 50, a greengrocer. He fined Fong £5O for allowing prentices he occupied to be used tor concealment of opium. Fong pleaded gutity. Senior-Sergeant R. Joyce said the potiee found two pounds of prepared opium to Fong’s home. He told them he was not addict, but had agreed to store the drug tor a CQUNEL
