HOUSTON (Texas), Dec. 12. A Democratic representative has plans to in- ’ traduce legislation making it treasonable to. demonstrate against United States Involvement in the Vietnam war. The representative, Mr Olin Teague, of Texas, recently returned from a trip to South Vietnam. He told a news conference: “I’m for freedom of speech, but Fm tired of what these demonstra-
tlons are doing to our beys." Such demonstrations, said Mr Teague, gave aid and comfort to the enemy. “If it gets to the point,” he said, “where the President is told by his intelligence officers that such demonstrations are causing continued fighting, then the demonstrations will have to stop. “That’s treason, and there’s no doubt about IL”
