THROUGH THE WALL
(N.Z. Press Association)
AUCKLAND, Dec. 9. Mr A. B. Ralnger, of 47 Orakei road, Remuera, found a large part of his bathroom wall torn away this morning.
It Is believed that on the previous evening while Mr Ralnger and his wife were upstairs watching television, a burglar had prised off outside boards and Interior lining
to break into the housethrough the wall. Nothing . woo stolen. Mr Ralnger believes this Is because he turned his set off early and the sudden silence frightened the person away. “The police tell everyone to lock their doors while watching television, and I do It” said Mr Ralnger. “But what do you do when burglars start coming through the walls?” -
