Prizes Presented At Ch.ch Boys’ High School
Next year it would be compulsory for every boy in the upper sixth form to sit the bursary or scholarship examination, the headmaster (Mr C. F. S. Caldwell) said at the Christchurch Boys’ High School prize-giving ceremony yesterday. Previously there had been no challenge for those pupils not sitting the scholarship examination, he said, and this would provide one. Speaking to the Parent Teacher Association, he asked parents to do all they could to help the organisation. “It seems a pity that television wins all along the line,” he said.
