HANDLING OF HARVEST
The usual meetings of parties interested in the handling of the coming wheat harvest will be held from Ashburton to Invercargill next week. The meetings will be at Ashburton, Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin and Invercargill. The general manager of the Wheat Committee, Mr L. C. Dunshea, said this week that the meetings would be attended by farmers, brokers, millers, and representatives of railway and transport interests.
A similar meeting will be held in Christchurch later. The meetings provide an opportunity for the airing of views on the handling of the harvest and a chance for ironing out any problems brought forward on the spot.
