Hostels Grant
Akaroa County Councillors believe the present system of accommodating university students in private homes, boarding houses and flats “is the last straw.” Consequently, they agreed yesterday to give £l5O to the church halls of residence appeal at the Canterbury University. The donation will spread over a period of three years.
