Hogget, Wether Prices The opening schedules for hoggets and wethers have been announced for the 196566 export killing season. In both cases prices are exactly one penny a pound cheaper for all grades and weights than was the case a year ago The opening schedule for hoggets and wethers was effective from Monday. Prices are as follows. Hoggets—Prime: up to 481 b, Ujd a lb: 49 to 561 b, 10id. Second quality: up to 481 b, lOJd; 49 to 561 b, 9jd. Wethers —Prime: up to 481 b, lOfd; 49 to 561 b, 9?d: 57 to 641 b. 7Jd; 65 to 721 b, 5Jd; 73 to 801 b, 4}; over 801 b and overfat 3?d. Second quality: up to 481 b, 9jd: 49 to 561 b. 8?d; over 561 b, 6}d; and manufacturing, 7}d. The schedule for both hog gets and wethers is based on a 11b wool pull. Adjustments are: up to lib. minus 31d for each l-Bth lb; 1 1-8 to 21b, plus 4ld for each l-Bthlb; 2 T-Bth to 31b, plus 5d for each l-Bth lb: 3 1-8 to 41b, plus 6d for each l-Bth lb.
