The Christchurch Drainage Board last evening authorised its chief chemist (Mr A. E Lambden) to consult with the Christchurch City Council’s director or parks and reserves (Mr H. G. Gilpin) about the possibility of instituting a tree-planting programme around the oxidation nonds at the board’s sewage treatment works at Bromley
