Ten To Avoid

LONDON, Nov. 22. A Roman Catholic priest today offered advice about the types of women men should not marry, the “Daily Sketch” reported. Writing in his parish newsletter, Father Joseph Jones listed 10 types of women who should be avoided. They were: lazy, untidy, nagging, self-pitying, petulant. extravagant, dom-
ineering, tantrum-throw-ing, economically unsatisfied, and jealous wives. He gave a special warning: “While being courted the domineering wife is usually able to conceal this unpleasant trait.” To protect himself against the criticism of his women parishioners Father Jones promised to list the undesirable qualities of husbands in a later issue.
